us...for a season. Let's make the
most of that season. Let our lives
be filled with love for these who

Today is "PINK DAY and a very special day for
me. Only a little over a year ago I was
diagnosed with Breast Cancer. I thank God
that it was in the early stages and they were
able to remove it with clean margins and
clean lymph nodes.
Early detection is vitally important! My advise
to all women out there that haven't
scheduled their annual mamogram yet,
please do it. It is very important! It could
save your life! It saved mine.
"For I know the plans I have for you,"
declares the LORD, "plans to prosper you and
not to harm you, plans to give you hope and
a future. Jer. 29:11 |

Laughter adds eight years to your
life recent research says! Have
some laughs. Don't be stingy with
smiles, and try not to take
yourself too seriously. Lighten
up, laugh, live life...and
give others some laughs along the
way. |

 LOVE LOCKS--In our visit to
Pompeii, Italy in 2007, we came up
this makeshift "shrine" to lasting
love. Locks, with the names of couples and adorned with symbols such as hearts, are attached to a chain on
a lamppost. This seems to suggest "locking" in the choice to love their spouse as the key to love that can last a lifetime. |

 ANOTHER SATURDAY, ANOTHER MARBLE--
Author Josh Mayo, in his
book, "Help! I'm Raising My Kids
While Doing Ministry" shares a
true account of a grandfather who
put over a thousand marbles into a
large jar--one for each Saturday
for the rest of his life. Each
Saturday, he removes a marble from
the jar--to remind him to invest
his Saturday into his children and
grandchildren somehow that day
with a visit, a call, a letter or
email. He has now emptied the jar
and keeps it as a reminder that
each Saturday now is an extra
blessing from God to share time with his family. |
